THE Artist & Art Instructor

Sheila Posner (B.Ed Hons) is a well- travelled artist & art instructor who has been teaching art for many years. Starting as a high school art teacher at Christian Brothers College , Fremantle to teaching watercolour on cruise ships and the Tavel Sketchbook at the Art Gallery of NSW.

She has taught countless successful workshops at her studio in Woollahra, overseas & in galleries in Perth & Sydney.

So much exposure to high school students & adults means that Sheila has a wealth of experience & is proficient in many different techniques.

Her goal is to transmit her love of watercolour & other media, encourage spontaneity & help promote the participants’individual approach.

Sheila Posner’s works are featured in collections across Australia, the UK and USA.  Trained at the prestigious Walthamstow Art School, London, majoring in fashion, her lifetime of painting & art teaching has culminated in her ability to skilfully use many different media.

Travel, fashion, interior design, architecture and the human form all inspire this talented artist whose evocative works are both expressive and visually stimulating & of course springboards for her fun & stimulating workshops.
